Humic acid is widely used in agriculture, animal husbandry, industry and other fields. In agriculture, humic acid fertilizer combined with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other elements can increase the content of organic matter in soil, and has the functions of increasing fertilizer efficiency, improving soil, stimulating crop growth, and improving the quality of agricultural products. In animal husbandry, humic acid is used for deer antler hemostasis, feed additives, and aquaculture can also be used; In the industry, humic acid products are used in ceramics, oil drilling mud treatment agent, purified humic acid is used as lead battery cathode expansion agent. It is now generally believed that humic acid is a mixture of a group of amorphous acidic substances with similar directional structure and properties. Humic acid is a natural surfactant, Natural polymer surfactants are water-soluble polymers that are separated, refined or chemically modified from animals and plants, including cellulose, starch, humic acid, lignin, polyphenols, tannins and tannins, plant gums and biopolymers, etc. They have excellent viscosity, emulsification, stability and binding force, as well as high non-toxic safety and easy degradation. The activity of these substances is caused by the equilibrium of hydrophobic and hydrophilic groups of humic acid at the gas-liquid interface. Since humic acid contains the C-H group of aliphatic hydrocarbons and hydrophilic groups such as -COOH and -OH, when it dissolves in water, the hydrophilic groups of its molecules tend to stay in water, while the hydrophobic groups tend to escape from the water surface. Every molecule has such a tendency, which inevitably causes most humic acid molecules to be distributed on the gas-liquid interface, forming an adsorption layer. It is caused by the equilibrium between hydrophobic and hydrophilic groups at the gas-liquid interface. Thus it has the function of surfactant.
